Rooms: Very good quality, everything clean, everything complimentary. Warm and comfortable. Walkability: 5 mins from Central. Noteworthy details: The roof is worth a visit. Once the bar is open, this place will be really buzzing.

Nicely renovated hotel on Elizabeth street. Rooms are comfortable but small. The hotel is conveniently located within a 10 mins walk to Surrey St as well as Thai and Chinatown. Its close enough to the action and yet quiet within the compound for some down time and quality sleep. The staff are meticulous and helpful. If youre traveling on Uber to the hotel, theres no stopping on the side of the road so expect to drag your bags from the small lane beside the hotel.

Arrived for our first night on their official opening night and stayed for a week. Every single staff member was lovely and extremely accommodating. Our room was beautiful, and I really loved the shower. Wonderful toiletries as well. The lobby, outside garden seating and the rooftop were stunning. I couldn't get the TV to connect through the browser on my laptop, but I know if we'd asked, the staff would have helped. But I had my tablet so I didn't even both to ask it wasn't an issue for us. The best part is no one under 16 but they allow dogs (although I have a cat, still respect for being dog friendly). If/When I'm ever back in Sydney I hope I'll be able to stay again. The location was perfect for what I was over for.

Cool & stylish boutique hotel, we had a great stay. Almost brand new - opened early 2023 - so in pristine condition. Rooftop deck with good views and shaded areas. Weren't yet licenced (for alcohol) when we stayed, but we got drinks at the pub next door then sat up there. Decent size rooms for a boutique hotel. Ours (called the Oxford) also had a timber-decked balcony facing a leafy tree...but it's right on Elizabeth St, so it's noisy out there. Once inside - with double doors - it's soundproof. Very friendly staff. Peter and the team were a pleasure to deal with. Good location; not central CBD (so you're not surrounded by high-rise) but you're a short stroll from the city, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Central Station, Oxford St or Hyde Park. Some good restaurants and cafes tucked in the streets and lanes behind the hotel. We are also HUGE fans of the "no kids under 16" policy. (Nothing against your rug-rats but I don't need their antics while I'm on holidays haha! )
