Sydney Doctors- St Ives General Medical Practice

I have been using this practice for almost 10 years. Whilst 99% of the times any member of the family have seen them it is for routine purposes, on the 1% of times that something extra has been called for, the Drs at the practice have delivered. They keep track and follow your situation to ensure the right care is obtained in the right time frame.

I agree. Some Reception Staff at this practice are rude in that they talk over you when you telephone them...... They do not want to listen to what you are saying. I have this experience trying to pass a message to my Dr. Messages not conveyed correctly causing unnecessary problems for me.

Dr. Urbaniak is easily the best doctor I've had, super understanding & supportive, cheerful and keeps up to date with the latest research. I have a couple of friends who have been to other doctors here, they've all had great experiences too. Highly recommend this place!

My Dr moved to WA about a year ago. Nobody at this practice told me. I have since seen other Drs at this practice and I'm not impressed. The whole experience leaves me literally in tears. The Drs dont listen, they're very happy to issue you with a script and push you out the door whilst charging you (they're not bulk billing!). They seem to have a one size fits all approach, I can only put this down to the majority of their patients being elderly so the Drs are no longer accustomed to dealing with people younger than 65. I do not recommend this place unless you're a pill popping elderly person.

Whilst the doctors to this practise may be very accomplished and helpful, it is such a problem having to deal with the rude and judgemental reception staff that I would steer well clear and revert to North Turramurra instead
