The camping site is through a no access road and on a private estate entrance way. Also you have to walk a fair distance to the camp area with risk of your car being towed as the sign states. Not worth it.

Nice to look at, but water too cold to swim in.

We went there by car, and got in from the south entry. Because it was a no - through road, it got us a bit confused. That road was muddy and bumpy so a small car may not be able to pass. When we arrived at the end of the road, we saw a tiny car park. After parking,we squeezed through a wide but closed gate to begin the walking. As we strolled along, a few trees have fallen down and blocked the track. We had to crawl through or go around, but it's fun for kids. The walk was very relaxing the whole time. We heard the birds chirping and spotted a big bird nest, and the air was so fresh. The creek was like a mirror, the sky and the trees were reflected beautifully. At Mooney Mooney Ponds, my kids definitely had a lot of fun! In most areas, the water was tranquil. There were too areas where the water was flowing very quickly. They were brilliant places to have leaf races. Wen it's time to head back, we all exhausted. But the day had been fantastic!
