The staff are very friendly ,efficient, helpful and endlessly accomodating, and they have a good understanding of pathology and procedures Mayo is everything you could ask for in a surgeonpersonable , competent and caring. He liased with my Cardiologist and Neurologist so every thing was seamless.Im 74 and have had a lot of surgery over the years, so I know what Im talking about. Very very pleased!

LUCKY Thats my new name. I am a 72 year old male I thought in PERFECT health. Went for a Gall bladder scan and surprisingly the Sonographer went a whiter shade of pale. I was swiftly escorted to my GP who immediately arranged an emergency appointment with Dr Mayo. Wow I had a 63mm aortic aneurysm. Dr Mayo saved my life. I was operated that evening at 8:00PM. The stent was implanted by 1:00AM. The experience once in a lifetime. At the time of operation the aneurysm had expanded to 74mm well on the way to rupturing. My life was saved by Dr Theivenderan. From the minute I met him prior to the surgery his capturing genuine concerns and intended remedy instilled unimaginable confidence. As I was wheeled into theatre his reassuring words gave me the confidence to know I was in the best of professional care. The following morning I was awakened by Dr Mayo who greeted me saying good morning lucky. You have made it just in time as you wouldnt have made it through the nite. Dr Mayo is very nice, easy to talk to and reassuring. My surgery on my leg was very successful and his receptionists are helpful and friendly.
