Colin is an incredible obstetrician. I moved to Sydney a few years ago and am so glad that I went with him to deliver my third baby. He is very professional, yet funny and calming. I always felt looked after when I was with him and his team and that he was there for me to represent what I wanted in a safe environment. I remember how highly the hospital staff spoke of him and even to this day, I bump into people who also had Colin as their obstetrician. If we ever have a fourth, we will definitely be going back to him!

I dont know where to begin with praising Dr Colin Walsh and his team! Dr Walsh was both professional yet endearing throughout my pregnancy journey and from the onset I felt completely comfortable in his care. His expertise was demonstrated and felt at each consultation and being able to having all my scans personally performed by him was both comforting and reassuring. Every question was answered and I felt reassured and relief after each consultation. He also frequently popped past in the labour ward to check in on how both I and my daughter were doing! We look forward to going back to Dr Walsh in the near future!

I highly recommend Dr Walsh. He supported me in 4 pregnancies and his quality of service is exceptional. He always provides a lot of information and presents the pros and cons of options, allowing me to make an informed decision. I've had a loss related to chromosonal issues which he provided a high level of compassion and support.

Very knowledgeable professional approachable doctor!!! I had high risk pregnancy with MCDA twin boys and had c section with Dr Colin Walsh 2.5 years ago. My whole pregnancy journey was well managed by Dr Walsh and his team. With very frequent ultrasound scans towards to the end of my pregnancy, I could have all these scans done by Dr Walsh in his practice. The c section went smoothly and surgical scar is minimal now. Dr Walsh's receptionists are amazing too. Thank you very much for all of your professional care. I highly recommend Dr Walsh.

Were very grateful to Dr Colin Walsh who delivered my MCDA twins in late 2021. There is a difference when your high risk pregnancy, especially twin pregnancy, is being looked after by an MFM (maternal fetal medicine specialist). All my scans were done personally by Colin himself and the keepsake photos quality from each follow up sessions are top notch. He seemed to always get good photos of the boys. This is a big deal, Id know as this was my third pregnancy. Previously, sonographers at a certain prestigious women ultrasound would blame my SINGLETON babies for moving too much, hence no good photos can be taken. Well, Ive confirmed my suspicion that theyre all just excuses after seeing how skilful Colin was with my TWINS (supposedly even harder to get proper photos). Never once he complained that my babies were moving too much or being naughty. To me it speaks volumes to his expert ultrasound skills. Colin also easily put me at ease despite the high risk pregnancy and I found myself enjoying my pregnancy a lot more than the initial stages when I was plaqued by worry. He was the third Obstetrician I consulted before finally deciding to go along with him and his wonderful team. He explained the potential risks of MCDA twin pregnancy in detail without being scaremongering, and his overall demeanour was positive and encouraging, hence giving me confidence as well. This was crucial for me personally as I can be dramatic, which takes away the joy out of a lot of things. Most importantly, he delivered a lot of multiple births as hes worked at twins clinic as part of his extensive training so I know that hes very, very skilled. I did plenty of reading before seeing any docs (as one would with a random twin pregnancy) and the other two obstetricians whom I saw before him didnt tell me much more than what I already knew. Colin went a step further and started talking about statistics of the potential complications and even discussed acute TTTS at birth which I didnt know could happen before seeing him! By this point I was sold and knew hes the person who will deliver my babies. I mean, his website is also reflective of his thoroughness and his passion in educating his patients. You can find a lot of the information that you need for your pregnancy just from his website alone. It was nice to have that rather than just reading the generic pregnancy websites. I do like that Colin and his team took the effort to be elaborate with their website. My C-section scar is shorter and way lower compared to my family members and friends which is another big plus. I felt bad as they got rather jealous of my scar. Towards the end, I did get upset that he wanted to get my boys out slightly earlier than scheduled (35 weeks instead of 36 weeks) due to sIUGR of the second twin. I tried pushing to keep them longer but Im glad that he was firm. I believe now that Colin made the right call and this decision was made confidently and without a shred of doubt. My sons, being as small as they were, thrived. They grew bigger and stronger at SCN which was much better than being in my womb. Ow, Colin is also VERY evidence based so, ahem, dont tell him if youre planning to consume your placenta, or youll get a bit of a tirade and some sarcasm, albeit it coming from a place of concern ;p Ive been fine thankfully after consuming all three of my placentas ;) Thank you Colin and team, sincerely, for your care. I wish I can bring John and Michael to see you to say hello but theyre now such a handful, and were still trying to survive them now! XD If you cant tell already, I HIGHLY recommend Dr Colin Walsh for your pregnancy care. You and your bub(s) will definitely be in more than capable hands. P.S. The ultrasound photos are really special!
