I highly recommend Dr Yanni Sergides. He is an extremely skilled surgeon with a friendly, professional & confidence inspiring personality. Throughout 2022 I suffered unrelenting neck & shoulder pain with numbness in my forearms. Even worse, I was losing range of movement & strength in my arms, being a T4 paraplegic already this was threatening my independence in even the most basic of lifes tasks. Luckily I was referred to Dr Sergides who preformed an Anterior Cervical Disectomy & Fusion in Jan 2023. I woke in recovery with NO pain at all and with fully restored range of movement and feeling in my arms. You could not wipe the smile off my face. Dr Sergides technique meant an easy pain free recovery which was the icing on the cake. Thank you Dr Sergides & your whole team for giving me my independence & quality of life back. Dr Sergedies is highly recommended for spinal problems and surgery. He is very professional, kind and caring in the love of his profession. The whole process from diagnosis to operation and aftercare has been one of compassion and professionalism. He has taken very good care of me and I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

There should be more stars! Dr yanni has changed my quality of life dramatically. Pre-op I was in agony just doing simple things in life from putting my shoes on or even trying to get out of bed, not to mentioned just walking daily. Dr yanni came highly recommended and now I can see why. Just 6 weeks post-op now and the change is unbelievable. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. Thankyou

I can only give the most positive, glowing recommendation for Dr Sergides. He was thoughtful, thorough and careful in his diagnosis of my condition, and was conscientious, kind and caring when he visited me in the hospital the morning after my surgery, and when he followed up with me a few weeks later. The surgery that I had went unbelievably smoothly ( I am sure a testament to Dr Sergides' skill and experience), it did not hurt at all, and now I (at age 68) I am right back into strenuous physical activity - running, cycling, kayaking, long walks, 100% normal. And this is from a person who was in so much pain I was stuck in a chair for 2 months, I couldn't walk 5 steps. Also the care at North Shore Private was off the charts excellent. So if you are considering consulting a neurosurgeon or having surgery, I have only the highest praise for Dr Sergides! You can feel completely comfortable placing your trust in him.
