Highly dissatisfied with the raw drumettes I purchased yesterday. Not fresh at all, it had a very unusual odour and the colour was off. Had to be thrown out to avoid a trip to ER. Total waste of money and ruined dinner plans, not happy!!

Not sure of the food is stale/ overcooked or just too hard to eat. Can you please try serving fresh food. Especially around lunch time 12 to 1pm

I have been going to Rhodes Chicken for a while to purchase my raw chicken & the team have always been polite & accommodating of my request - which is to bag my chicken in 1/2kgs bags as my household consists of 2 people. I purchase all my chicken here - paying a higher price for the free range option. I purchase breast fillets, thigh fillets, tenderloins, whole chickens, sausages & other marinated cuts on each visit which is monthly & my bill is always over $100. Today, I went in at 12:30pm where I was the only customer. There were 2 staff members in the shop. When I asked for the chicken breast to be packed in 1/2kg bags the girl attending to me refused. I mentioned it was always done for me. She told me they were short staffed & her manager told her not to do it. I told her I understand if there were other customers but considering I was the only one there I couldnt understand the response. She gave me the same response & told me I could do it myself at home. When I asked how would I weigh the chicken at home she said she didnt know. I told her the service was disappointing & I wouldnt return & she said that was fine. As I was leaving I saw a third staff member enter the shop so Im still not sure how they were short staffed - it was 3:1 at that point? Its sad to see businesses during a pandemic that are willing to lose high paying customers over a simple request out of sheer laziness.
