Aka the Rhodes Colossus, this is a fittingly unique and futuristic architectural landmark for a high density inner west suburb. Easily visible from the Harbour bridge, this automatically-controlled heliostat helps to maintain adequate sunlight on the adjacent Union Square. It is part of the excellent Rhodes Central residential + shopping complex completed in 2021.
