IGA UNSW

There are variety of item. Price are very reasonable. There is sometimes discount. Located in the lower campus of UNSW, it is below UNSW Terraces and next to UNSW Village. Convenient for students. There is a deli called country fried chicken which mainly sells inexpensive cooked chicken. The items taste very good. There is always shortage of staff so the line is long when peak time. Staff are is not very polite. Always have to wait for them to come to cashier. And they leave the item behind the cashier after u paid every time which is quite far to reach.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Everything is pretty pricey considering this is where uni students go to find cheap snacks and what not. The food is also not fresh, I literally got food poisoning from one of the sandwiches (and I know it was from the sandwhich because that was all I ate that day). I have also found a bug in my fruit salad.

The lunch lady was totally nice to me every time I went to get hot food, showing clear enthusiasm and respect towards me. The services is absolutely amazing and every student and staff, and community of UNSW deserves be treated like this. If only more staff like this were present, the university would have been a lot better. I am also looking at getting a job there in my breaks. I will email the manager with my resum.
