Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Practice was very clean and their instructions prior to the appointment were communicated very well. I was in and out within 10 minutes!

If you're recommended this place don't waste your time: I am a Male and I find this place hostile, couldn't imagine wat a pregnant woman would experience when emotional. Negatives about the place: - They don't care about what you think there always right (This usually comes from the front table workers). - No Real Genuine care about the baby or how comfortable you are. Usually enforced by do the paperwork and wait in the corner and don't talk to us. Some hospitality would go a long way for mothers that are already on edge waiting for results to come in. - They will drill you about Vaccines - Please guys leave that professional medical advice to the individual doctors. - Will drill you about wearing a mask (This one is understandable) - Not kid friendly - They wont let you Video call your support person or husband..... once your in that room your on your own. I personally see this as a safety issue. Robotic "its the policy" line will be frequent from staff. - 3D photos are outdated and never clear. Positives: - They have some really good doctors that know there stuff. - The Ultrasound lady's are decent but they will enforce the negatives above. - They have a really good relationship with specialist in the area. Its a shame that just a bit of customer service is what's lacking here. Being close to the hospital its easy to get there and parking is not bad most of the time. Video calling a partner during an ultrasound would go a long way - No point in upsetting a lady over something that so widely accepted.

I had a horrible experience at this clinic. The first issue was my NIPT test. They initially didnt disclose the gender when I had requested to find out. They were apologetic but then sent me someone elses report! I spent an hour digesting the information and gender before I realised it was not mine! They were mortified and told me to delete it. Eventually they sent me the correct report with a different gender! It was a whirlwind day of emotions and could have been a much nicer experience of finding out what we were having! My second issue was much more traumatic. I went in for my early structural scan a week later and the sonographer was having trouble getting all the images she needed of the heart. She eventually called in the obstetrician and they looked together. I had to listen to them talking about abnormalities and they turned the machine off to then tell me that they needed to refer me to a fetal cardiologist as they believed baby had a significant heart defect and talked about potential chromosomal problems. The obstetrician then took me to her room, drew me a horrible diagram and offered me genetic counselling. She also walked me to reception to book in an amniocentesis soon after our second specialist scan. The specialist scan ended up being a full week away. It was the worst week of my life, I had little hope based on our conversations that day. I didnt sleep much and still had to parent my two other kids. Eventually we were seen by the most lovely cardiologist. Two images in and he could already tell everything was normal. He spent another 40min doing a detailed scan as the letter from the doctor was so confident and indicated a rare defect of the aorta. We were reassured nothing was wrong and everything was very healthy. He said he got a lot of early pregnancy referrals from the clinic. I got a voice message from the obstetrician later that day telling me how thrilled she was at my news and whether I still wanted the second scan (for $580). There is no way I am going back there for my 20 week scan!

The specialists ans Doctors are great at what they do and treat you nicely! However, the recepcionist is not efficient and rude. Had a Mirena removal with ultrasound booked, and no one told me I needed to have a full bladder for it - so I had to stay over an hour drawning myself in water to have the procedure done. When the receptionist came to ask me if I was drinking a lot of water I mentioned "i wasnt told I needed this when I booked the appointment" she said it was needed for every scan and asked again about the water and I said "i just think its something you guys need to pay attention to and tell people as its not our obligation to know this" to which she responded " you already said that, but thats not what i asked you" RUDE!!!! Im giving her feedback and she acts as if they didnt do anything. Terrbible professional! But considering this is not the first bad review for reception there, guess you dont really need to be a good one for what they need. Respect for the pacients and the specialists who need to keep calling us in and checking our bladder cause they disnt do their job.

I specifically booked my 20 week appointment at Randwick since Id had such a good experience at my 13 week scan, and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately the two experiences couldnt have been more different. After filling out a covid form at reception that asked questions about overseas travel etc I went into the scan room with the sonographer. She made small talk which ended up in me telling her Id returned from overseas just over a week ago. She immediately said she couldnt scan me since I was not allowed in a healthcare facility within 10 days of travel. She marched me straight to reception and, unable to find an alternative appointment within the required timeframe for a 20 week scan kicked me out. Obviously upset, I was a bit annoyed they hadnt mentioned this rule over the phone on booking. I called everywhere in Sydney trying to find an appointment between 20-22 weeks but everywhere was full with such short notice. I eventually found an appointment in Wollongong. Once Id calmed down I remembered a text Id received from Services NSW on arrival into Sydney which said you cannot go into a healthcare facility within 7 days. Then I also realised the form I'd signed at reception had said 7 days. On top of this I found a confirmation text sent by ultrasound care plus a page on their website stating 7 days. I went back to Ultrasound Care to understand why I had been kicked out without the rules being checked. The receptionist was friendly but said even though the form on reception said 7 days Id probably signed a form that said 10 days. I asked her to show me the form Id signed which did say 7 days. She was apologetic and admitted their mistake. The sonographer on the other hand refused to look at the text Id received from services NSW saying I didnt know what I was talking about. She then disappeared into a back office to try and find the rule that said 10 days. She couldnt find anything so called her manager. The receptionist overheard the conversation and said it did sound like it was 7 days and they were wrong. Finally expecting an apology from the sonographer, I was shocked when she came out of the office and double downed on the rule, now telling me the health NSW rule was actually 14 days, the clinic was working off 10, but since Id signed a form in reception that incorrectly said 7 days she would honour it. SO now the sonographer is showing a willingness to disregard NSW health advice. She offered no apology and rolled her eyes when I tried to speak. I cannot believe a place providing a service for pregnant people would behave like this. This sonographer would rather let my baby go unchecked than admit she had made a mistake. As far as Im concerned a person like this should not be allowed anywhere near an unborn baby, let alone dealing with people in a health care setting.
