Jassen is truly the best piano and singing teacher in Sydney. His limitless knowledge about vocal health, classical music and piano technique, coupled with his calm, positive and encouraging approach to teaching makes me feel right at home when working with him. He is honest and constructive in feedback and so incredibly patient when it comes to piano teaching (especially for a beginner like myself). I am constantly asked for recommendations for piano and singing coaches (I am a school music teacher) and I do not hesitate for a moment when recommending Jassen. I don't write reviews often (if ever) unless it is worth celebrating; Jassen is indeed worth celebrating and worth working with!

Jassen recently performed at my wedding. The organ music was beautiful, and he made the whole process so easy. We had multiple people tell us how much they enjoyed the music he played, and it really added to the atmosphere in the church. I would highly recommend Jassen to anyone who is considering an organist for their wedding or any other special occasion.

Jassen is an amazing and caring teacher that for many years has encouraged and guided my daughter, throughout AMEB's piano grades, that recently achieved a surprising Honours for her grade eight classic piano. Not only for piano but also singing, the performance opportunities and care in working with her weaknesses/strengths and teachings on how to handle pressures over the years contributed dramatically for the confident, talented and well rounded young musician my daughter has become. We're really grateful for all the opportunities and guidance Jassen has been providing.

Jassen is a brilliant teacher who listens to his students while seeking to lift them through tailored tutoring to master the art/craft of singing. Jassen listens with his ears & heart and understands that each student is at a different stage which leads to personalised lessons aimed towards our individual goals.
