Rooms: Our room offered everything with the exception of a safety deposit box. It contained a fridge, microwave and tea making facilities. Cleaning products, including washing up liquid was an added bonus. Nearby activities: Great local transport using the light rail service and public bus services. We travelled in from Melbourne via Sydney domestic terminal by train and light rail. It was easy to visit Bondi and Coogee beaches by public bus services during the weekend even though maintenance work was being carried out on the light rail system, which meant no trams were running. Safety: Very quiet location. Reception manned until the early evening when the front door is locked so only hotel guests can enter with a front door key. Walkability: Centennial Park is within walking distance as well as the university and the hospital. It's possible to walk to Bondi beach and Coogee beach but, a little tip here - take the bus back. The hills are very steep coming back and it's uphill all the way!
