I recently made an appointment to see Professor Coroneo, who came highly recommended from an industry expert. Professor Coroneo diagnosed and treated me on the spot and made me feel comfortable and reassured by his professional attitude, knowledge and experience. Thanks Professor!

I feel well qualified to write a review of Sydney ophthalmologists as I've seen 8 of them in the last 3 years! By far the worst is the Sydney Eye Hospital ophthalmologist who talked me into seeing them in their private practice, then insisted that I urgently needed another trabeculectomy on my good eye (after the same operation previously on my other eye had gone very badly).Their very poor treatment of me included not sharing with me my long-term testing results which clearly prove that I did not need to have this dangerous operation! The trab operation absolutely ruined my good eye and then, unbelievably, this Doctor simply got rid of the problem by firing me as a patient. I then saw 7 other ophthalmologists in a desperate attempt to get some help before finding Dr Minas Coroneo. I have found Minas to be an amazing doctor and human being. Whilst there isn't much, he can do given the extensive damage already done to my eye, his level of care is nothing short of amazing (including contacting his peers around the world and spending a lot of time thinking outside the square doing everything he possibly can to try and help me). If only there were more like him? You might also be interested to know that in an attempt to stop the first ophthalmologist affecting other people's lives, I made a very detailed complaint to the HCCC; which I do not suggest anyone else tries to do as it was a total waste of time and huge effort to get absolutely nowhere as, in my lived experience, they are hopelessly incompetent and protected. Maybe, just see Minas?

I recently had eye surgery with Prof Coroneo. Initially I was nervous and uneasy. From the moment I met the Professor my concerns were resolved and more importantly a successful surgery. It was a very professional, calming, and a positive environment. The outcome was perfect as was the journey. Couldnt recommend him more!

In my book going to the Doctor is not something to get excited about, but in the case of Professor Coroneo and his colleagues - it is genuinely always a pleasant experience. While I am only in my 30s, and usually the youngest at the clinic by a stretch I've been going to the professor for years. My experience has also included surgery (on a few occasions) and I've never felt so much trust and certainty in a medical setting as I do when I am with the Professor. I would highly recommend Professor Coroneo to my family, friends or anyone who was after the best medical care in the world. I would also say Helene is a delight and incredibly knowledgable. It is a five-star service all round - 'eye' swear by it!

I came here today at 9.30 am to see proffessor coroneo here at 2 st Paul's st randwick for my eyes I've have seen him many times before .I came to see him for 1 eye which has a pteryguim which needs to be removed in later date and found I have dried eyes . He's still is the best dr in orphomoligy his proffesional at his best the staff are also really nice and proffesional as well they look after the patients really well . I would recommend the dr proffessor m t .coroneo. any time . Well done .
