Andrew Martin and his town planner Deborah McKenzie helped me with a innerwest council DA resubmission when my original DA was unreasonably rejected. The decades of experience they bring together in town planning matters and their proven track record provided much influence and expertise and got my DA over the line. Well worth every cent. The team prepared a supplementary SEE as well as providing guidance on the amended architectural plans to get a successful DA determination. They provided a solution that was cost effective and preserved the original design intent for my period dwelling rennovation.

Used AM planning for several years on a what would be best described as a difficult DA. Home with alts + adds on a sloping block which was a complete remodel. It went through through the pre DA process which took 18months. Then once council were satisfied with the result we then proceeded with the DA. During the pre-da stage AM Planning was central to how we should proceed, their intimate local council knowledge was invaluable. They were available for every meeting, whether it was with the owner, the architect or needed to be onsite for a meet up with council. AM Planning was also dealing with objections personally and writing submissions throughout. they were heavily involved with the DA also, and subsequent modifications to the DA. The same high degree of consideration, quality, advice was on offer from all the staff at AM Planning. The DA process did also take time despite the pre-da engagement but that was more to do with Ryde council and not a reflection on AM Planning. I found that AM Planning were overall balanced in their approach with providing the advice needed to get an amicable result for the owner, whilst considering the other parties views. Naturally was pleased with the outcome despite and have used AM Planning for another work. Highly recommended.
