Sense of Power Pilates

Being a pyrmont local, I stumbled across Alishas Pilates studio by accident. Id only done Pilates mat classes and weights training before. I was keen to challenge my post baby body with more advanced Pilates equipment. Alishas knowledge and attention to detail is next level. Her studio space is extremely calming and inviting. She makes you feel safe and never judged. Its become part of my weekly routine and has done wonders for my mental health as a busy working mum of two. I always walk out of there feeling taller, stronger and thankful for Alisha and her team. Highly recommend.

Sense of Power Pilates is a light filled, enchanting and peaceful studio full of all types of pilates equipment, and Alisha Porter, a classically trained dancer, is a gifted teacher with technical brilliance, endless knowledge and lovely poise which combines to ensure a first class pilates experience.

I came across Alisha and Sense of Power Pilates about 3 years ago while I was working at Wotso Pyrmont and found it very convenient to pop in to her studio before or after work. I was looking for a way to manage my back stiffness from sitting at a desk and my residual sports injuries but I can honestly say the expertise and insight at the studio has not only done that BUT has given me far superior strength and stability than my years of yoga! I love that I can jump online or head to the studio without missing a session!

The best Pilates studio I have been to! Initially joining the studio for regular Pilates sessions; I was extremely impressed with Alishas knowledge and felt the difference and improvements to my body after each lesson. Right now being pregnant, the sessions are so invaluable. I can feel myself getting stronger each session. Highly recommend Alisha as an instructor for every stage in your life!
