Went there last Saturday for lunch and was very disappointed with both quality and quantity. We ordered a $90 Sashimi platter which had tiny pieces. The sashimi were way smaller than any other places I have been to. The entire plate was not even sufficient for one person. The tempura had again very small three pieces. Pork belly was okay but again insufficient quantity for a meal. Still water costed us $6 per person, really? Overall, very pricey for its size and quality.

What a fantastic night I had here! Its quite an amazing experience for me and my family. The decor is simple but luxurious. The drink is not that great, but the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. I could remember the texture of the fish: crunchy, soft, and sweet. There are many words that I can use to describe it. The food was disappointing when the price was considered. The steak was quite nice, but the rest of the food was not particularly memorable. Sokyo strikes me as a place where you would go to impress people with the money you spend rather than enjoy the food. After dinner, we went for drinks and snacks at Harajuku in Darling Harbour which was far better and better value for money.
