I own and run an architectural building company BIC Construction. We had the pleasure of building a new home with Danny in Chatswood and could not recommend him enough. His design was great, his drawings and documentation was incredibly thorough and the process of building the home with Danny was smooth and a very positive experience for all involved. We look forward to having the opportunity to work with Danny again in the future.

Danny Broe and his team (Fahimah Badrulhisham and interior designer Veronica Andrus-Blaskievics) helped to transform our dark, cramped semi in Bondi into a light-filled space full of clean, modern lines and lots of storage that also worked with the 1930s heritage. The firm offers creative solutions within a reasonable budget. The new double-height void forms a majestic showpiece in our living area, flooding the area with natural light and giving the illusion of grand proportions. The custom steel staircase balustrade is an elegant talking point. Danny also designed lots of beautiful joinery throughout, including a planter box that supports an indoor trellis. Renovating can be stressful, but Danny was very calm and accommodating. Our CDC application was seamless and the 9-month renovation wrapped up with only a few minor hitches. Our friends and even our reno-averse parents have been wowed by the finished product. Were now happily ensconced in our new home during Sydney lockdown 2.0 living in such a beautiful space has certainly taken the edge off homeschooling!

We have successfully worked with Danny Broe Architects on two occasions and have no hesitation recommending their services. Our collaboration comprised the design of an extension to a terrace house, the obtaining of building approvals and the more recent renovation of a five-bedroom house in Woollahra, Sydney. We have found Danny and his team to be a delight to work with imaginative, pragmatic and timely in their approach. Danny has been in tune with our needs and his team was empathetic to the visions we aimed to create. He was also able to source builders and painters with minimal fuss. A special shout-out goes to Beatrice Roberts who is an outstanding project manager and interior designer who communicates consistently and effectively. This was particularly important as for our last collaboration we lived overseas and needed a project manager who kept us informed and able to make decisions on a daily basis. We came to Danny Broe and his team after 12 months or more of confusion regarding our build. We hadn't had anyone truly commit to the job nor explain what it would involve with any clarity. From our first conversation with Danny, we were given an estimate of the costs involved and the time it would take to complete. We really appreciated working with Danny's team. The hassle of spending weekends searching for samples ourselves was eliminated when they showed us what they had sourced based on our ideas. This was a quick and effective way for us to manage the build. Danny's team were such a pleasure to work with. As we both work and have two young children, it was reassuring to know they were overseeing every aspect of the build. They frequently kept us in the loop and there was never any pressure to make rash decisions. We are extremely pleased with the finished renovation. We have doubled our interior space. The job exceeded our expectations. Our builders also enjoyed working with Danny Broe Architects and told us they'd like to hire them for their own personal projects! If you like a calm and considered approach - you won't be disappointed.
