This company is a rip off. Allen quoted $20 on the phone for the call out fee. after that he charged me $745 to replace2 safety switches and do a quick test. He was pushy in that he just quoted 745 and started doing the job without waiting for me to respond. He also told my wife afterwards that he wouldn't touch any part of our property without our permission. I could have stopped him half way but he's already started. I thought while he was doing the job that this is just how much it cost to replace 2 safety switches, as it rattle off a lot of technical jargon. After the job I did a bit of research on google and realised I have been ripped off. 745 to replace 2 safety switches and do a "echo" test is over priced. My wife tells me we got 1 replaced last year for 100. Allen is saying I didn't stop him while he was doing his job. However, I didn't have a chance to stop him before he started and I didn't know at the time how much of a rip off it was. The whole job took less than 40 min, the safety switches cost $15. Tony & Alan were very helpful, professional, thorough and responsive. Their willingness to listen & work with me was what made me pick them. Their level of communication via phone, SMS and email was second-to-none. Let's be fair, On The Way Electrical is not the cheapest out there, however they are most definitely not the most expensive either! Tony & Alan were willing to handle our non-standard electrical requirements which caused some other electricians to baulk at what we needed done. Even on the day, when job had been completed, an unexpected issue arose which Alan was able to troubleshoot in less than 20 minutes. Tony even came out a few days later to do a follow up for me. We definitely will be using these guys again. Service: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading
