Thai Street Food Potts Point

Ordered Fish Cakes, Beef Massaman and Chicken Penang Curry and rice. Over $65. Advised 15mins for takeaway order to be completed. It took almost 45mins and they werent that busy at all. Heard them arguing about beef massaman curry. When food was ready, the lady advised that they ran out of chunky beef for the Massaman and instead gave me sliced beef. This is not a Massaman curry if using sliced beef. I asked why she didnt tell me this earlier - her reply was that they gave me more slices of meat and more prawn crackers. Decided not to argue and got back to my room and it was simply sliced beef in yellow Penang curry sauce and only few slices meat and not what you would expect in a normal serve. So there was no added sliced meat. It just tasted like sliced beef in Penang sauce. Just terrible. The chicken Penang curry was again the same sauce used for the Massaman curry and had no lime infused in the sauce at all. Massaman has rich red colour and not yellow! Both curries looked absolutely identical. The fish cakes were very dry and rubbery - not fresh at all. The sauce was also terrible - they couldnt even get that right! This is the WORST Thai Food I have EVER had. Ive been to Thailand many times and enjoyed a variety of tasty street food. This restaurant doesnt serve any authentic Thai food at all. Street food - its junk food with poor reprehensible service. I threw the food out and ordered Kebabs instead. And tiny bag of prawn crackers - what happened to the extra? Although the crackers were same as any other restaurant. Dont waste your time or money!

This restaurant has reopened on William Street they are still using same name but major problems & up to double the prices for half the amount. I was astounded how bad the food was for what the lady said was just opened. I mean a medium container 3/4 full with maybe 4 bits of chicken mostly bland sauce for $17.99 not good & old place was $11.99 and satay sticks were 15.99 old place 7.99. Rice was 5.99 very small container but still I knew the prices when ordering it's just omg no way would feed two people but worst thing it had like long hairs in the rice? I'm not sure how that could be possible not just one but two! That's why I'm leaving this because I tried to call no answer and it's raining otherwise they should know not to serve the rice.

Value for money is none exsistant in this restaurant. Look elsewhere, owner is rude and when you confront makes threats in calling police with camera here Paid $18 for chili basil fried rice. All I got was majority rice with very few pieces of chicken. When confronted owner walked away to her laptop and started to threaten me saying this is covid you touched container I get refund and then started pointing at cameras and threaten to call police. Avoid at all cost

Great value lunch specials, and great noodles dishes with self serve chilli condiments!

Been a few times and had a few different dishes. All were very good however all the servings were very small compared to other Thai restaurants.
