I booked a birthday brunch at Eros on 12th March. The restaurant took $300 deposit from my Credit card on the 10th then sent an email immediately after saying that the restaurant has been forced closed for that weekend and will refund any deposit made within 10 business day. To this day (29th Mar) i still have not received the refund and i have followed up via email 5 times. The mobile contact number never works Ridiculous and worst booking experience I have even been through.

Reserved 5 tables @ $300 each. Arrived with 25 guests and the restaurant was closed without notifying us. I think that says enough

Date: Saturday 25th of February 2023 My daughter and I booked Eros to celebrate her 21st birthday with family and friends, which included grandparents and family members from overseas. We arrived 20 minutes prior to the reservation (reservation booked for 2:30pm) in which we were advised to wait outside to allow the first brunch session to be finalized prior to us being seated. At this point there was no mention of a power outage, at 2:20pm I walked back inside and somehow no one knew about my reservations anymore, a young gentleman then walked out and said no one could come in, due to a power outage, the restaurant was closed. I had to ask to speak to the manager as there was no resolution being provided for existing reservations and not to mention large groups that were celebrating big events. As you can appreciate this was a celebration for a 21st with a total of 21 guests. I am disappointed that there was no care factor and being a busy weekend due to Mardi Gras we were going to be left with no reservation. At this point I was frustrated and asked to speak to someone else, I was also advised that the owners were uncontactable to be able to provide a resolution. After several attempts I was able to speak to another gentleman, who was more helpful and arranged for our group to be moved next door, however no food was available, only a drink package. At the end of the day, I appreciated his help as it was out of his control, and he was genuinely trying to help. From an organised, pre-booked event/reservation, I had to organise food and drinks to ensure the celebration could continue, which resulted in 3 family members including myself not being able to enjoy the celebration as we had planned. The staff at the venue next door were lovely and could only do what they could as they were now overbooked and were not expecting groups. I have sent a complaint letter and also tried to call several times and no acknowledgement from the restaurant/owner.

Eros owes me money. Booked a bottomless brunch here and they messed up their stock levels so had no food to serve. They brought the bill at the start of the brunch without informing us there would be no food and charged me full price for the bottomless brunch which includes food and drink to only find out by the end of the session we were not getting the food on the menu. They told me they couldnt authorise refunds on the day and said to email them and they would refund us. Theyre now not even responding to emails. Not sure on what world they can get away with this. A lot of us were sick because we had flowing alcohol and no food. Appalled. Still waiting for my refund.
