Ezra

Finally dined at the famous Ezra last month during a Saturday lunch. While the forecast was sunshine, it started torrential raining soon after we arrived, and we were sitting at the patio area. Never fear, the awesome guys running the place promptly and obligingly rolled down the plastic covers, ensuring we were aptly protected. The rain did not dampen the experience, as the service is top notch. Very friendly, accommodating, not intrusive at all; but always there when you need them. Epitome of warm and welcoming. The food is plentiful, rich, and substantial. Come on an empty stomach. We opted for the 'let's party' banquet. The great thing is you can ask for substitutes too. The pita and Jerusalem bagel are out of this world. If they opened a bakery, I would always be there. Fluffy, warm, delicious carbs. The raw kinhfish and cauliflower were my favourite savoury dishes... The desserts, both the baklava icecream and the chocolate mousse, were standouts. Some of the best desserts I've had in ages. Cocktails were also tasty. Atmosphere fun with relaxed vibe. Really fun place to have a lazy meal with good company and great people looking after you.
