Attended a function with set menu. Dietary requirements weren't communicated but when mentioned on the night they said they could substitute entrees with pumpkin tacos which never arrived. We ended up finishing all the dips and chips they served. The dips were delicious! We also had to keep asking them again and again about tacos so we gave up. Spicy cauliflower, fish, beans and leafy salad were nice. They then served 2 slices of cake to be shared between 4 people and didnt say anything to anyone. Having dessert to share is a little bizarre and this is the first place I have experienced this. We were setup in the back room and it was a bit smelly which they did try and cover up with air freshener but it was pretty strong.

This place is a hidden gem in Sydney. Fabulous margaritas and legit Mexican tacos. Go botomless as the service from the staff is the best, friendly and always looking after you. Thank you Casa Merida! See you again soon
