Learn Spanish With Ana

I've been taking weekly lessons at Learn Spanish with Ana for over a year. I'm in my 50's and not naturally gifted at languages. Ana's bespoke approach has enabled me to make quicker progress than I envisaged, and much faster progress than other Spanish lessons I've attended. Ana sets the curriculum to each student's need, such that every lesson is challenging yet achievable, ending with a satisfying feeling of progress. As a teacher, Ana is always full of energy, positive and enthusiastic; she is passionate about teaching, and it shows. Aprender espaol con Ana es siempre muy divertido! (Learning Spanish with Ana is always a lot of fun!).

I started lessons with Ana before I went on exchange to Barcelona. I had been studying Spanish at university for 2 years but really wanted to improve my speaking. Ana helped me improve my speaking immensely! Ana is kind, bubbly, and fun. I looked forward to my lessons every week and I always left the classes with a big smile on my face. I increased my lessons to two days a week because I loved them so much. Ana is extremely professional and taught me many Spanish speaking tips and tricks. Custom homework also helped me practice my writing, reading, grammar and tenses. Unlike my university classes, Anas classes aren't rigid or prearranged, every lesson was tailored to me. What I loved most about Anas classes were the informal conversations; I felt as though I was talking to a friend. This has increased my confidence and I now feel excited to speak with Spanish locals. I highly recommend Ana to everyone!

I have had the pleasure to have been studying Spanish with Ana for the last 6 years. Ana is a great teacher, i have never had a boring class with her. She knows how to pace the class to suit my ability to understand the concepts being presented. She has covered a wide range of subjects in our classes : from grammar , vocabulary, idioms , comprehension and conversation. she also exposes the student to Spanish/Latino culture and currant affairs. To enhance the learning experience she includes aspects of my family life , my hobbies.and life style . When necessary she has helped me with virtual classes. Ana has been very patient with me and my ability to learn more of this beautiful language. If i have been unable to grasp a concept, she has the ability to alter the learning process to help me understand and remember the concept. I cannot recommend Ana highly enough to anyone wishing to learn Spanish with an extremely competent , caring and entertaining teacher.

Before I started tutoring with Ana, I was really struggling with my spanish. I chose to do it as a subject for my HSC- so i desperately needed the help. By the end of the year, I had noticed how much I had improved, and actually found the HSC exam to be amazing! I was struggling a lot with understanding conjugations and when to use different tenses- now I understand it and I made sure to do so in my exam. Ana's tutoring has been so amazing, words can't describe how amazing of a tutor as well as a person she is- I would look forward to seeing her for an hour and a half each week. By far my favourite teacher i've ever had as the way she approaches teaching is so tailored to each individual's needs, and she is extremely understanding when you make a mistake (which happened quite often for me). Such a committed and motivating tutor- i couldn't recommend anyone better than her!! Thank you Ana !!!!
