UNO Hotel Sydney

Guy is nice but I wouldnt recommend staying here. Bugs throughout the room, no towels in the bathroom or soaps. One very flat pillow, no duvet, just a sheet with a thin throw looking thing in between it. Key card door handle battery died so we couldnt get into our room until the maintenance guy gave us screwdrivers to fix it with. No plates, bowls, cups, cuttlery, no kettle. Bed is on wheels so cant lean against the wall otherwise youll roll away. Aircon works but is very loud. Walls are thin. Tried to scam us out of giving our $100 deposit back but we stood our ground and got it. Very sketchy, he wasnt there during check in hours.

-1 They tricked me into a deposit on $600 that was supposed to be given back to me at the end of my stay. But never did. so I ended up paying $1200 for a week stay instead of $600. They refused to pay me back and accused me for being the problem and said that it was a long term stay that I never agreed to. I wanted to stay there for 1 week and at the end of that week they told me I agreed to a month stay which I never did. They said that we had a agreement by words which we didnt and theres no contract. So they stole $600 from me. DONT stay here. Dirty and rude. Walkability: Close to all but not worth it.

Room was not clean when we entered upon check in. No basic necessities including soap, toilet roll etc. The hotel smelled like a rotting corpse. Windows are not child friendly as I almost fell from the top floor twice. INFESTED with bugs. Every time we entered the room it was covered in bugs crawling through shower, on the pillow, and up drains. The hotel guy was nice and polite but unfortunately I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Did not feel safe at one point during this stay. Many areas for improvement. UNO Stars for UNO hotel unfortunately :-(

This hotel sucks. Photos and actual rooms are very different. I was planning to stay for 3 nights, but there were many problems on the hotel side, so I took another hotel in a hurry. They said they would refund the accommodation fee, but it hasn't come back even after 2 months.
