        I am very grateful for the medical knowledge and surgical skills of cardiovascular surgeon Dr John Gan who, along with his highly competent theatre team and who, as we have now learned, achieved 100% success rate in clearing a severely blocked carotid artery on the right side of my neck. My sincere appreciation to all hospital medical staff who were involved and also a big thanks to Dr Gans consulting room assistants who were most helpful with the necessary paperwork .
