        Dr Kostalas is a genius. I had been battling with helicobacter pylori (stomach bug) for more than 2 years, and Dr Kostalas eliminated it with one consult and his expertise in providing the correct medication that my bug was not resistant to. I cannot thank him enough. I also loved that there was no initial consult - which is often a waste of time and money. He read my history and booked me straight in for a gastroscopy procedure and a follow up consult. Then prescribed the correct medication, and the bug has been eliminated. I am absolutely thrilled and highly recommend him to any other person with similar conditions.

        Couldn't recommend this Gastroenterologist! I was admitted to public hospital as private patient with significant gastric bleed. I did not see this person once during my entire stay 4 days! He couldn't even manage to wonder across in the theatre and introduce himself prior to the scope. He may think he's God...or better. But he's not. I won't be following up with him. Thank goodness i have private health insurance I have plenty of other options.
