Yeah not one to write many reviews because I give people the benefit of the doubt especially when you are paying them to look after you. Dr Champion would honestly be the rudest Doctor Ive seen. I went to my appointment yesterday and paid $170 for him to speak to me for no more then 10 minutes with not a simple hello how are you? Or a Goodbye, take care! Just a number as per usual thats going to pay him a ridiculous amount of money for nothing. Walked out not knowing a single thing about the real reason I was there, my cancer! The receptionist is just as rude not a single care for the patients honestly. No smiles nothing just depressed people sitting behind a desk. You get told to get a new referral and not a single person yesterday read it like whats the point had to mention everything that was in the referral back to them! Told him at my last appointment I wasnt going to buy his ridiculous $700 injections for my weight as I told him it was a mental thing but no still got the same sale pitch yesterday. Not a single bit of the conversation was about the cancer, just that I was fat der mate I know that but I also had a thyroid that wasnt helping the situation either. He didnt even read the fact that I have lost 12kilos since I last seen him. If I could see another person or not have to see one again I would happily oblige. My recommendation find someone with better reviews.

If you want ANOTHER endocrinologist that thinks massive weight gain is not in any way related to thyroid, this is your guy. Another doctor that gets paid a huge amount to read a blood test, offer no suggestions and thinks that when you take your thyroid meds, all is fine. These people know nothing more than they read from a book, they sure have not lived it. If my 39 kilos weight gain, only since having thyroid is from my diet, well every other Australian should be morbidly obese. Waste of time. You may as well just see a GP.
