Philip Shaw Wines

I recently photographed a beautiful wedding at Philip Shaw Wines and was really impressed with everything. The couple had their wedding ceremony at a local church, but we did wedding photos and had the wedding reception at Philip Shaw Wines. The grounds are large and beautiful and there are lots of different locations and backdrops which makes it really interesting in photos. The reception was modern and rustic and was absolutely perfect for this wedding. The food was amazing and the staff were outstanding. It was a great experience and an awesome wedding. Can't wait to get back there to shoot more weddings.

I visited Philip Shaw on a winemakers recommendation and it doesnt disappoint. The region is known for its Chardonnay & Pinot Noir, its a cool climate area. I was impressed by the quality of these wines, my two favourite varieties. Luke & Daniele provided me with an excellent tasting, their knowledge and passion highly appreciated. If youre visiting Orange this cellar door should be on your must visit list!!

We had the best time wine tasting today. Ashley welcomed us with a big smile and gave us a choice of tables to sit at. The tasting is supposed to be 45 minutes but we stayed 90 minutes. We had the very tasty cheese platter and 11 wines to try. The servings were generous and the commentary was entertaining. The decor is absolutely enchanting and on a sunny day it was perfect. We bought two bottles only as we are traveling in a motor home and storage is an issue. But we truly liked many of their wines. We are seriously considering their club membership as it is the most sensible we have been offered after touring many wineries around Australia. This winery is a gem not to be missed.
