        A beautiful building with a lot of history in every room. A great location with nice views. However, it clearly has its best years behind itself. Sewerage smell in the staircase, paint pealing from the roof, piano not tuned, dust and dirt everywhere. 280AUD a night is clearly too expensive given the state of maintenance. After insisting we got a 25AUD reduction. We are thankful for the sign of courtesy. Still the feeling remains, that the hotel should have a more consistent approach with respect to the market they are trying to target.
