Cherries in Orange NSW. A great experience and a great place to pick sweet red cherries. Domenic and Shane are absolute gems in greeting-treating customers. No Experience no worries as they will show you how best to pick and which fruits to pick. No entry fee. Plenty of parking. You pay $10 a kilo for the fruits you pick. Able to eat and taste some from the trees. Actually they give you more cherries for less $$ so very good. A great place for a family activity. Comfortable closed toe shoes recommended as the ground is not flat.

(Translated by Google) Great cherry picking experience. Several farms in Orange have only sour cherries left to pick, and this one still has plenty of very sweet cherries to pick. The farm is very large, with large cherry orchards in the front and back. I heard that the cherries in the back are only for export, but we were very lucky to pick them in the cherry orchard in the back. There are various varieties of cherry, each row of varieties are different, the taste is very good, especially sweet. The price is much cheaper than Coles Woolworth, 10 yuan per kilogram, and the freedom of cherries is truly realized here! I heard that apple picking is open in May, so come back then! Sweet and Good size cherries, only difficulties is to pick them up, as the trees are high and not enough ladders. You also need to be prepared to walk downhill to approach to the cherry garden and climb uphill when finished picking up. Take enough water as you may feel dehydrated on a sunny day with the hard work of picking fruits on uneven surface & high trees, you may also use some insect repellent to keep the flies away. Dont take push trolley for babies/kids as it will be difficult for one person to handle back & forth. The Price is good $10/kg, consider staying overnight in a nearby place if traveling from Sydney as you may feel exhausted after driving 4 hrs each way, you have to leave early - 8ish am, you can take a break at Echo point in Blue Mountains, you may find $8/hr pay park right in front of echo point if reached before 10 am. Overall, even had all these challenges still enjoyed the day.
