Kudos to the Orange City Council for getting businesses and the public involved in saving water via their campaign 'Take Smart Showers'. On our recent trip to Orange we stayed at the Turners Vineyard where we learnt about how a shorter shower can save 18 litres of water. The little hourglass on the shower screen gets you all motivated and take up the challenge of beating the 'clock', which in turn helps you as a person to do your bit to conserve the much needed water. I wish this initiative is adopted by others in the greater NSW.
