Very interesting and tasty fusion dishes. The eggplant had really big flavour.

Visiting Orange for the first time in a year, friends recommended trying Sweet Sour Salt. The food, service and ambience was absolutely sensational. We started with prawn wontons and salt & pepper squid, followed by Malaysian chicken curry, braised black bean beef and a fish dish. Food was so fresh and tasty, and was one of the best meals Ive had in years. Special thank you to the matre de who I think was Brett, for his attention to detail, recommendations and excellent service. Will be heading back to sweet, sour, salt soon.

From my many experiences of visiting SSS, this time with visitors from Sydney, as always the food was outstanding and so was the service. We were warmly greeted by Charlie at the front door who showed us to our seats, explained the menu options and provided waters and drink orders which were promptly delivered. We then were served by Brett who helped us choose a beautiful selection of entrees and mains to perfectly cater for our guests tastes. The wontons were divine and the salt and pepper squid with that amazing dipping sauce were perfect. Followed this up with a stunning blackened trout, amazing Malaysian chicken curry, rice, greens and a spicy cucumber salad. Our guests from Sydney were overwhelmed at such quality food being provided in a regional area comparing it to their best experiences in Sydney, if not better. Great value for money given the quality of the food and service and a great atmosphere with perfect mood lighting and a fabulous playlist which rounded out a beautiful evening. Well be back and looking forward to trying out a Wednesday BYO evening with the family as well.
