Dr Paul Ferris

Today was a review appointment with Dr Ferris. After years of chronic pain, I had a double knee replacement on 23 February this year. My first appointment was to manage pain levels pre-op, by introducing medicinal cannabis. My review is to be able to reduce pharmaceutical medication, as my condition improves. Dr Ferris is down-to-earth, easy to talk to and a good listener. He outlined my options and I am happy to have him guiding me through this period of transition.

Dr Ferris has been great in assisting my arthritis pain management. Before I was referred to him I struggled with basic medications. He was helpful, understanding and supportive of alternative treatments .

I had tolerable pain when I went to Dr Ferris. Agreed to a radio frequency ablation a year ago. Pain has increased, in different back/leg areas to an unbearable degree. Saw Neurologist today - & I decided operation not an option for me at 85, so painkillers increased in intensity the only alternative. I can't help but wonder if wrong nerves were burnt during ablation, leading to the terrible pain suffering that has followed. Not happy.
