Coziest Sydney restaurant for sure, reminds me of izakaya in Japan. Excellent selection of whiskey, good beer on tap and the food is delicious.

Tried this place out after hearing rave reviews from my partner about their curry. I'm definitely glad that I was introduced to this hybrid of a whiskey bar and Japanese izakaya styled food. Without a doubt, it was one of the best Japanese style curries I've had in Sydney. If you're also looking for an alcoholic beverage, they have plenty to choose from as per the namesake of the restaurant itself. Our food came extremely quickly (within 10 minutes) and felt super full afterwards. Highly recommend checking this place out! An intimate Japanese Jazz restaurant that is more reminiscent of a trendy London location that something in North Sydney. With limited seating, you'll need to pick your time, but it is well worth the effort.
