Freedom - Support Centre (no retail sales)

I have never dealt with such disgusting customer service (or lack of). I purchased a lounge with the assurance of a 10 year manufacturer's warranty. The lounge is so poorly made that it is completely falling apart just 3 years later - not what I would consider normal for a $1500+ lounge. Freedom initially replied to me and sent a contractor out to attempt to repair the lounge. He took one look at it and said there was nothing he could do to repair it as it was so poorly made. I have now been attempting to contact Freedom repeatedly for over a month and no one will speak to me or reply to emails. Disgustingly shonky company and I have reported them to the ACCC.

I was promised a voucher to the value of $360 after i complained when my products were delayed. Freedom stayed that after they were delivered i would receive the voucher via email. I have received the items but to date no voucher. I have contacted Freedom 3 times over the last month only to be told that i will receive it in a few days. Rang again today to be told the same thing. Still waiting. Has anybody else had this happen?

I had a lounge delivered by Unitrans, a subcontractor of Freedom Furniture and their delivery drivers damaged my property upon delivery. When I made a property claim for the damage, which included a full history of what occurred and photos of the damage, they rejected the claim claiming it wasn't possible to have occured. I witnessed the damage occur and the argument the two drivers had after they caused the damage. The ironic part of the story was that the senior driver tried to impart some helpful advice, that when I needed to have the lounge moved from my property, to place some moving blankets over the fence so the lounge isn't damaged when it is lifted over the fence....which they needed to do to get my lounge inside. My claim was rejected as they claim it wasn't possible to lift the lounge over the fence. My advice when having a delivery occur - video the delivery taking place so you have video evidence if/when they cause any damage. At least it then means the drivers are careful when they know there's a camera rolling.
