Plush Newcastle

Plush Newcastle have ordered and provided me with the wrong couch and are hiding their heads in the sand about it. It's been over 6 weeks and I find out today that they closed the case back in December but didn't bother to contact me. The couch I've received was not what was discussed. $6,000 for something that is largely unusable.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Service and quality has fallen off a cliff since they were overtaken by Nick Scali in 2021. I waited 32 weeks for delivery. No updates, no response, no explanation, no discount, nothing. Complained to area manager, no response. Finally got my furniture. Quality nowhere near where it once was. Showroom staff are great, but once they have your money forget it. AVOID at all costs!

We ordered our lounge in January and they said it would take 16 weeks. Nearly 20 weeks later we get a text saying it is due for delivery on Saturday and we have 48 hours to pay the balance. We paid the balance, sold and had our old lounge removed and changed all our plans to be home for delivery. We get a call the morning of the delivery from a call centre saying the lounge wont be delivered today and its not even in the country. I then call the Newcastle Plush showroom, give them my details and a run down of what happened. The lady tells me it wasnt delivered because we hadnt paid the balance?? I gave her the receipt number, date and time of payment but she apparently couldnt look it up. Our lounge which is paid in full, has taken over a month longer than anticipated, IS actually in the country and waiting to be delivered, but didnt get put in the truck due to an outstanding balance.that is not outstanding! Such poor form. Dont purchase from here if you want a smooth transaction.
