Chicken Cartel

I never realised how much I needed chicken and waffles in my life. Ordered the cartel fries, cartel burg and fried chicken and waffles with a side of day of the dead sauce. Take away. Service was great, time was quick. The meal so delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the waffle just the right amount of squishy, complimenting the C crunchy chicken. The sauces and pickles all worked so well with them. The cartel fries were a great side to have, and the cartel burg, while the chicken was great the bun wasn't so great All around though I'll gladly go back!

Leave the Australian Heart Association tick book at home before coming here. Menu is limited not in the terms of being chicken-centric, but rather burger-centric. It came across as an extension of Newy Burger, which shouldn't surprise anyone. Burgers were nice but not wow, and beer on tap was a plus. Oddly quiet for Friday 6.30pm dinner. Overall not bad but not great.

Great to see life and good operators back in the Cambridge. The menu is good (unless you don't like chicken or deep fried items) and their sides are very strong. The waffles, the cheese toast, the Mac and cheese. All great additions.
