Donna Hill Speech Pathology and Literacy

Two of our sons have been to see Donna for speech issues. One had mild issues and was back on track in no time. Our other son has Autism and more pronounced issues so has been seeing Donna for a few years now. Donna is so patient and has such a kind, positive and encouraging way that gets the best out of our son. If one method doesnt work, Donna finds a new way and nothing is too much trouble for her. Our son looks forward to every appointment and has made amazing progress. We are so grateful for all Donnas help!

Donna has been working with our daughter over the last three years. An immediate rapport was established with our daughter and Donna's enthusiasm, energy and patience has never tired, she is always prepared and ready to ensure that the learning is fun, vital for a five year old! Visiting Donna has never been a "chore" and we have seen only positive results from the sessions with Donna. Donna has also been very generous with her time in liaising with school teachers and ensuring alignment in the learning across all environments. Lastly, the ability to be 'in the room' enables parents to reinforce the learning in the home environment, this, I think, is hugely beneficial and testament to Donna's wealth of experience in working with children and their families.

Donna was fantastic working with my son. He was in year 6 and had lost all confidence in his spelling and writing. A few visits with Donna had all the rules 'refreshed' in my son's mind and he shone. Donna is extremely professional and had a beautiful manner working with my son. He felt very comfortable with Donna and was happy to attend his lessons. Thanks you Donna for your wonderful care!

I cant recommend Donna highly enough. We spent some time with her with our two daughters (7 year old for spelling and sound identification) and our (4 year old for pronouncing L's and R's). Donna is super professional but also really good with kids. She gets straight into working on the job at hand but keeps the kids interested by making it fun. She is also quite happy for parents to sit in on the lesson to gain a better understanding of what is going on so they can reinforce the techniques learned at home with the kids at a later stage. It was amazing to see how quick both our girls improved with a few weeks help from Donna.

Donna has been working with my daughter for over 6 months. She was able to assess her, determine the gaps in her reading and start filling them. She does an amazing job getting the most out of my daughter in each 30min appointment. We are so thankful to have found her.
