We recently saw Dr Kate Bryan at this clinic. Full bloods were done on my son, Which should have been back in a day or two. I chased her for 3 and a half weeks for results (Calls/emails etc) Eventually when I did receive them his bloods had abnormalities. This being the case Dr Bryan should have advised me that if my baby were to get a temperature we need to go to emergency immediately. (Something she failed to communicate with me) Only finding this extremely important detail out when we ended up being admitted to hospital because my baby got so badly ill after some questionable advice for Dr Bryan. She also prescribed Omeprazole/Losec for my 4 and a half month old baby. 7 weeks later when I questioned her on this decision (as his symptoms were persisting) this was her reply in her own words. As I outline to all families who are having a trial of omeprazole, there is limited evidence that using medication such as omeprazole makes any difference to reflux symptoms in infants. Dr Bryan failed to mention this to me at the initial consultation. Her duty of care for my son was nothing short of inadequate.
