Dr. Oliver J Brown

Dr Brown, the midwives, and reception, all provided a very high level of care. He and his team were friendly, highly knowledgeable, and willing to go out of their way to help. Dr Brown is a very skilled surgeon. My caesarean had fantastic results. Dr Brown corrected issues from my previous caesareans done elsewhere. We travelled 3 hours each way to see him, and I am so glad we did. The whole team were very supportive of our situation with the travel, and accommodated this very well, which enabled it to be a smooth process. I will definitely be going back to Dr Brown for any further obstetric or gynaecological management.

Dr Brown and his team are amazing! I'm so glad I chose him for the birth of my little one. Throughout the whole way the team was so caring and provided me with so much information, I felt so comfortable.

After being referred to another gynaecologist for problems with my IUD, I was told I would have to have surgery. After a glowing recommendation about Dr Brown, I decided to get a second opinion from him. He was friendly, understanding and kind. He filled me with confidence when he said he could fix my issue right there in his rooms. And he did! No surgery for me and my problem solved in under 15 minutes. I must also mention his incredible admin team and midwives. They were very gentle and kind to me. I felt supported and cared for from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left. I cannot recommend Dr Brown and his team enough.

When I entered the workforce as a nurse at 19 I remember one thing all of the other nurses with children told me - 'if you ever decide to have a baby, see Dr. Brown!' Almost a decade later Dr. Oli Brown delivered our first baby Harry at Newcastle Private Hospital in Janurary 2023 and we could not be happier with the care and support that was given to our family during the pregnancy and birth. Especially given I had hyperemesis and was very sick my entire pregnancy. Oli is incredibly professional, cool as a cucumber when it comes down to business, but also warm and had a laugh with us. And that's exactly what I needed to remain calm and have a positive birth experience. His midwives, receptionist and practice manager are incredibly caring, empathetic and answered my MANY enquiries providing reassurance during my pregnancy. I 100% agree with my colleagues, see Dr. Brown!

Best care i could possibly ask for. Dr Brown, all the midwives and front desk operators were very helpful and supportive throughout my entire pregnancy. Nothing was too much for them. Dr Brown had the best bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable and confident in his care and clinical judgement. After I delivered, all the nurses and midwives at the hospital would go out of their way to tell me how great Dr Brown was, which is high praise because they had nothing to gain from telling me. Would definitely go to Ollie again for my next pregnancy.
