Hand Surgery Centre

Near complete amputation of four fingers, severed tendons and nerves plus multiple broken bones after a work place injury with a circular saw. I still have all four fingers and 60-70% usage after a total rebuild of my left hand. Dr Andrew Myers is a miracle worker and I can't praise The Hand Surgery Centre and there staff highly enough for all the work they have done to help me get my life back to normal.

Both Dr Bryce Meads and Dr Andrew Myers and their staff members in the private rooms are absolutely amazing people they will look after you in person or over the phone the absolute best way they possibly can and it doesnt matter if you are a public patient from John Hunter Hospital and if any of us ever need a orthopaedic hand surgeon again and have the money we would absolutely 100 per cent go back to both these guys in their rooms , Thank you to Dr Meads again for looking after mum with her left hand injury 3 years ago ( 2019 ) and also removing Samanthas ganglion from her right wrist last year ( 2021 ) in surgery at the JHH despite her trying to scare the heck out of all of you for the afternoon with her spiking blood pressure and heart rate and Thank you so very much to Dr Myers for looking after me with my suspected left scaphoid fracture 5 years ago ( 2017 ) even though I only got to meet you for that one visit in the JHH orthopaedic outpatient clinic you was so kind and caring and helpful towards me, I highly recommend these guys and the practice to anyone who has a hand injury.
