How can a couple in their late 50s/early 60s look like supermodels on their wedding day? Have Society Photography take the photos! After our first meeting with Dave, we felt we had known him for years. We met Lara at a later meeting, and felt the same. Dave and Lara are down to earth, friendly, very easy to get along with. And that was important to us because of the length of time we were going to spend with them on our special day. Dave had lots of creative suggestions and was keen to work with our own crazy ideas too. Which included a 6-foot 2-inch Easter Bunny and a pinata wedding cake! He knew the wedding venue well (Gunners Barracks) and recommended some fantastic nearby places for our location shots, helping us with our timing to ensure we maximised the light. Despite a 4.30pm ceremony in winter, we managed to sneak in some great sunset shots! Id recommend 2 photographers, especially for the ceremony, because its very special to have photos taken of the same moment from two different perspectives/angles. Dave and Lara were unobtrusive on the day at the venue. So much so, that during the ceremony I didnt even see them. Im convinced Dave must have worn a camouflage suit of sorts because he blended in so well! Like many people, we didnt like the idea of having our photo taken especially at our age! But we had so much fun on our photoshoot. Dave and Lara helped us relax in front of the camera. Casually having a conversation with us, making jokes, making us laugh, distracting us from the lens and quashing our self-conscious thoughts. When needed, they guided us on how to pose to ensure we looked our best for the few staged shots taken. No double chins, no back fat honestly! In todays digital age I was initially against having a printed album. Im so glad my (now) husband persuaded me otherwise. Seeing the high-quality photos, professionally printed, just blew me away. Our photos are so amazing that we ended up with a much larger printed album than expected because there were just so many great photos. Preparation was thorough. Pre-meetings were worthwhile. After care was fantastic. But most importantly, the result, our photos and printed album are amazing, telling our story perfectly, in pictures, bringing our memories to life. I highly recommend Dave and Lara, Society Photography. They made us look good at our age, so they must be seriously talented!

If you are searching for a wedding photographer, search no more! Society are the best professionals you will find in the market. You pay for what you get for and more! Lara is very kind, patient and has a very calm temper. She makes you feel comfortable and really listens to all your concerns. She made my wedding so smooth and easy. No stress, no fuss! I am really happy with the results and I'm looking forward to work with them again for other family projects!

The team at Society are incredible, we got the most amazing photos for our wedding. Lara and David were awesome to work with as they made us feel very comfortable.
