Dr Virginia Oliveira is amazing, caring and helpful. I've never had any issues with admin either. Love that I have a doctor who actually cares for my son.

Love the staff and especially Dr Oliveira, she has seen all my 3 kids, shes so patient and does not rush the appointments which I love. When I call the staff are always helpful, highly recommend

Today has been an upsetting experience at the Sleep Cottage. I am extremely disappointed that I had gone ahead to my sons appointment today and the appointment no longer existed in their system. For background: I had sent an email to the admin team (as requested by the reception staff the previous week whether it would be best to reschedule my appointment due to a specialist appointment happening after the said booking date). I had asked whether a reschedule would be easier and IF SO to call me on my mobile to reschedule. No where did I state to cancel the existing booking without confirmation or further discussion. The staff mentioned today in the office that there was an admin note on the 15th of September which is the date I originally sent this email so that reconfirms that the email was received but no follow up actions were made as requested. Instead the original appointment was cancelled. Today was not an easy day to get to this appointment but we made it work. There was no parking and my baby boy was crying so much in the car which only added to the frustration. It would have been nice if I had a confirmation email to state that the appointment was cancelled or better yet that I was called to discuss the reschedule as my email requested (not just the auto-reply email) This is not the first time that Ive had to follow up with the admin office but I was patient and persevered through the admins lack of follow up because we like Dr. Oliveira. I will make a point that we do not live close to Miranda at the moment but will be moving closer to the area later on. We liked Dr. Virginia Oliveira from our experience at the hospital hence we didnt mind the travel. Especially knowing that we would eventually be within a better distance. Unfortunately as much as we like Dr. Virginia Oliveira, something needs to change with the admin staff processes or the admin staff itself. I recommend that for future clients that attend your office that better communication/service is provided. It should not be the patients job to follow up on appointments, emails or messages that is left for the doctor or admin team to action.
