I saw Vanessa a couple of months ago and she was one of the most caring and genuine specialists I have ever seen. Her bedside manner is beautiful and she welcomes the time you need to tell your 'life story' with your gastrointestinal problems. This resulted in me feeling listened to and supported. Dr Rees is using the first line approach to managing IBS and conducted all the appropriate tests to ensure there was nothing more sinister going on. I am now on a journey of discovering my gut irritants and starting to get some answers. I am so much further along in managing my symptoms than I have been with all the specialists I have seen in the past that supposedly had decades of experience but always left me feeling like a winger. IBS and food intolerances are very real and as patients we deserve to be supported and taken through a journey or discovery. You will not be disappointed with Dr Rees' care. I highly recommend her, especially if you have been disappointed by the system for many years like I had been.
