We had a Wedgetail rack fitted on our 300 series Landcruiser. Very robust and well finished product. Best of all its Australian designed, engineered and manufactured and they actually have stock on the shelf ready to go. I called the Sydney shop on a Monday morning and they slotted me the same day for installation. Great blokes, great service and an excellent product. My only advice to them is to work on your search result position as you never came up on a generic google search, only word of mouth. Sort that out and youll sell a lot more product to those of us that want to support Aussie jobs.

I ordered a commercial max roof rack which was damaged during the freight process. Scott from Tradesman in Minchinbury, Sydney was extremely helpful. They arranged for a custom replacement to be made so it didnt hold up the build and fit out of my Volkswagen Crafter Van. Once the build was complete I visited Tradesman at their warehouse in Minchinbury, they professionally removed the old rack and installed the new custom rack (built around the roof vent) free of charge. All round amazing service to accommodate me through a mistake made not by them but by the freight company. Im very grateful for the new rack and service I received. Highly recomend

Underwhelmed is an understatement! I ordered the Flatdeck Commercial Max roof rack system and paid the deposit on the 18th of September and in the reply email, I was told the ETA to my local distributor / installer (Central Coast 4x4) was the 4th of October. After numerous emails and excuses, the racks finally arrived at CC 4x4 on the 31st of October! The racks were installed this morning, which is the 9th of Nov. After paying what was remaining of the $2,500 price tag, I inspected the racks and discovered one of the 6 bolts that holds the rack onto the roof was not engaged in the track! I brought this to the attention of the salesperson in CC 4x4 and he immediately notified the fitter (who seemed to be a mechanic from a workshop across the road). The fitter came over and rectified the loose corner and apologized as he had a school kid on work experience help him and didnt double check his work. Not sure if its coincidence, but I later noticed that the same corner of the rack is also scratched and missing paintwork. I paid extra for the premium grade paint that is guaranteed not to rust, so this is more than a little disappointing. Also, I made the mistake of adding 2 ladder rollers on the back of the rack to my order. These rattle when going over bumps which is quite annoying. The pins are too small for the holes in the rack frame, which are powder coated by the way, so I cant imagine it will take long for these to rust as well! Im seriously considering grinding them off as I think they are more trouble than they are worth! The sticker on the rack says it has a weight capacity of 150kg. But I just discovered that you cant exceed the manufacturers weight capacity which is 120kg for this vehicle. The racks are Matt black, but all the fixings are silver. This may seem trivial, but when youre paying $2,500 I bought these racks as I wanted the lowest profile possible, so that I can hopefully fit in 2.1m car parks. If this isnt an issue, or if you can find an alternative, I would definitely shop around. Sorry guys, I dont like leaving bad reviews, but couldnt let this one slide.
