    I had my new shoes stolen from a room at this hotel by the shady housekeeping staff. The GM and check in staff played cover up and proceeded to act as if nothing happened. The GM said they looked at CCTV outside the room in question, although upon looking outside the room, there is no CCTV camera whatsoever. Appalling! The rooms are also tiny and overpriced.

    I stay here quite a lot on a fortnightly basis before I fly out for work trips early the next day across the country. The food at the restaurant is great. The location is so convenient to get to the domestic terminal with the shuttle service. However, the beds are absolutely terrible, they are too hard and always make for a terrible night's sleep. I am hoping mantra being a 4 star hotel will fix this for future patrons.

    It so abysmal I have to make a comment. As an airport hotel, it should be servicing airport guests, however the restaurant was closed when our staff arrived at 9pm! , with only KFC and fried food available next door or on the over night menu. After a long flight from Thailand they needed decent meals. When they left on Saturday the waitress wouldnt even give them a coffee as the restaurant opened at 7am!!!!!!! Are they for real??? Calling today to obtain receipts for charges, receptionist continued to talk over me , not even for a short period, simply continuing to talk while I continued. One of our staff members had an argument with the waitress about getting a coffee at 6.55 and she adamantly stood her ground saying she didnt get paid until 7am. 5 minutes .. and wouldnt give him anything until it was 7am. Word for word. Other guests observed this and commented this was the typical behaviour from this server. We paid for the breakfast option- why ?! They START breakfast at 7am on a Saturday! They are an airport hotel so should be serving the airport requirements for guests travelling. We were not even advised restaurant times prior to booking but we paid for breakfasts that were subsequently unavailable. Airport Hotel- it is unfair to assume they cater for business travelers as they are located close to the airport? We were referred by our Corporate Travel Company who have been advised of the obnoxious, rude, insolent behaviour exhibited by the employees of this hotel. Stay here is you would like no service and attitude. Otherwise, choose anywhere else, there are plenty to choose from. NEVER again. Nothing about the experience was Corporate. Nearby activities: all restaurants aside from KFC closes after 9pm on a friday night. terrible location
