The one star is only because Google doesnt allow the zero rating this place deserves. Less than an hour before our 5.30 seating time - booked weeks in advance - they left a voicemail saying the restaurant would not be opening that evening due to technical difficulties. When we called back in disbelief they made no apology, showed no concern for the fact some of our guests (the evening was meant to be a family 60th birthday celebration) were coming a long way to join us, and had no interest in trying to helping find an alternative venue - which obviously wasnt possible at 5.30 on a Saturday evening. Needless to say what was meant to be a wonderful evening was completely ruined, and whoever we spoke to was only interested in getting us to make another booking some time in a few weeks when we have space. Just unbelievable. As a guest said - at least we cant say the evening wasnt unforgettable. Thanks to the most unforgettably incompetent and rude restaurant ever.
