This mob are giving my son so much grief. Talks to a different person every time. He has a cyst on his spine and paid his policy in good faith as a soul operator. He has been trying to get payments for over 3 months now. It's severely affecting his mental health on top of the anguish of possible spinal surgery. The book the Rainmaker comes to mind.. dodgy insurance companies that take money but then "deny, deny, deny!" Looks likely we will get our lawyers involved as well as the Ombusman . Riley has been to our family doctor, a chiropractor and had MRIs yet they claim THEIR independent medical practitioner has denied the claim but refuse to provide a copy of that report... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BEWARE!!!!

Point Insurance is the worst company I have ever dealt with, if I could give them zero stars, I would. During one of the worst times Ive been through, I could have used a little bit of compassion, all I got was deafening silence, heartless indifference, insensitive procrastination, empty promises, and fake apologies. I had to fight for every bit of progress. Four times I was assured they would call back in two days, every time, after ten days I had to call them back to find out what was going on. After four and a half months, I did finally get a payout, but not without a Herculean effort. If Id put the money in the bank, during the time Id been paying income protection insurance, I would now be $12,000 plus interest better off, and without all the grief. If youre thinking of dealing with Point Insurance, dont.
