Basic cut and worst customer service, the owner was shaming and insulting me as well as providing unsolicited advice for hair loss occurring after a stressful event even though I told her I didnt need the advice she was advising me to fix my diet, take supplements and get healthy. Visited her in March and wish I checked the google reviews before sitting in that chair. Honestly the worst experience, I do not recommend anyone visiting Unique hair!!

I took my elderly mum who has dementia to this salon. Jessica was very patient and kind towards her. Perfect haircut and wonderful caring service .....thank you so much.

A total rip off paid over $500!!!! Quoted $350 for foils over the phone since she didn't see my hair yet and said that will lower it down as soon as I get to the salon. I came to the salon she didn't mention any pricing, I asked for foils and she discouraged me not to having foils cause it will damage my hair, so I got scared and did full colour and bits of highlights that she offered. She did manage to colour, highlights without bleaching my hair for 30mins or so and walah! Im done! She calculated everything and asked for $500!!!! I said it was too much and she insisted that that's the price, since I don't want to create any drama I payed her. As soon as I got home my friends and partner was shocked with her over $500 worth of work! I went to Frankprovost a year before that and the service was great & paid $250! I badly regret why came to this UNIQUE HAIR salon the very first place! If you don't want to be ripped off stay away from this salon and go somewhere else! Service: Hair coloring

I felt compelled to write this review after my recent phone call with Jessica. The story goes, early in the year I booked online for a Blow Dry at Unique Hair. I showed up on time and was seated by Jessica, after waiting about 20 minutes for her to finish another client she brought me over to wash my hair. All went well and actually the blow dry was fantastic HOWEVER, that's not my gripe here. When I was leaving she asked if next time I don't book online as it charges her, whilst that makes sense I don't quite understand why she would have the online booking system on top of that, the salon is dirty and unkept. Fast forward about 6-8months to today, I called to book for another blow dry (as per her request). Immediately when she answers the phone I say Hello and request a blow dry for tomorrow. She proceeds to say "can I call you back? I ask "when?" and she says "soon, I am with a customer" and hangs up. In the meantime I booked a blow dry somewhere else. She calls me back, when she does, I politely let her know that and she says "Okay Bye!" Look, I understand small business, I have run a small business. I get it. But Jessica, you're losing customers because of your manner and service NOT because of your lack of talent. I urge you to rethink your strategy for customer service because just like my review, many others seem to be discouraged due to the way they have been treated. Service: Hairstyling
