My Dad and I came in today and brought a hybrid style bike , very happy with the service from the team. I have booked one of my other bikes in for some upgrades and looking forward to the results. Original review Unfortunately I have had to edit this review ! I was down for a ride this morning with my 2 year old daughter and subsequently got a flat tyre on our ride in I thought Id try my luck and drop in as the store was opening I was advised they couldnt repair the tube until around 12-1pm I thought sure they are super busy thats understandable. I asked if I could purchase a tube and borrow a 5mm Allen key to repair that tube myself outside the store this was agreed on and great ! However as I was paying and repairing my bike I noticed a few other walk in customers without bookings and young dependents were able to have the mechanic look at there bikes straight away ? I felt a bit hard done by to be honest as my situation was quite dire ... its not easy changing a tube on the footpath while trying to contain a 2 year old. 9/5/2020

After phoning Steve & his business today I can happily say that any previous issues have now been resolved & I appreciate the time & care he took to sort my issues. We went to Manly Cycles whilst in Sydney to upgrade some tyres for my wife's Specilized Stumpjumper back on the 18 Jan this year. The tyres we purchased were 2 Fast Track Control 2 BR 29x2.2 tyres along with tubeless rim tape & valves. On the face of the purchase it should have been a easy pleasant purchase. I was a one off customer that they would never see again & unfortunately was treated accordingly. The tyres were dropped off to be changed over to tubeless. I supplied a litre of muc-off sealant which I had to be used in the job. I returned to pick up the tyres which on first inspection looked ok & were bought up to me to settle purchase which duely took place. I was a km down the road when I thought to myself I should have been given the replaced tyres so went back & collected. Then thought it doesnt take a full litre of sealant to do 2 tyres. It only takes 130ml/tube so went & asked if I could have it back as well given it was mine. I resisted giving a bad review until the other day when I pulled off both tyres to inspect some ongoing problems (punctures & losing air) with the tyres only to find 1 of the rims didn't get the rim tape that I had paid for. As I said at the start a 1 off customer & Manly cycles seem to think it's OK to provide such a type of service. Won't be returning any time soon or ever.

I bought a Turbo Levo Expert from Manly Cycles back in mid-September. I only got 7 rides in before I had to bring it in for repairs which took 6 weeks. I no longer trust this shop for servicing or sales, and I'm telling everyone who askes to go to Jet Cycles in the city. I've sent several emails to the shop and received no reply. The bike is still having issues and I'm currently talking to Specialized directly to get these resolved. The Specialized representative mentioned that this shop has recently lost a mechanic, and boy does it show based on the service that I received. --- Read on for the full details --- The initial assessment of the issue with the bike was that the battery was good, and the motor was good, but the problem was the power coupling. They ordered a new power coupling which arrived a few weeks later... But during fitting the workshop discovered that there was debris in the Motor, and that the motor had to be replaced... So the motor was checked back in September, but it was only discovered that it needed to be replaced at the point the new power cable was fitted? They ordered a new motor which arrived a full month after I initially took a basically new bike in for repairs. I went back in to find the motor fitted, which was great news, however I was told that they had checked the battery at this point and that it was dead... This is the same battery that was checked 4 weeks ago back in September, but it seems like it was only tested once the new motor and power coupling were fitted. The battery came in but it was more than 6 weeks of repairs in the shop for a bike ridden less than 150km which is frustrating given that these parts could have been ordered together if they were checked properly during the initial assessment. When I finally got the bike back, the door which covers the power coupling had basically been ripped off, and it fell off that night when I plugged it in for a charge. They also mentioned that they had done a full service as well, but from the look of the bike this was not the case as the chain and the rear cassette have surface rust at this point.
